Hey, not quite sure if this is the right place to put this, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the True Astonishments 9 DVD set being released by Paul Harris.  Here's a link with a lot of information, and it sounds like it will be a great set to have!

pff what a content. It is ahrd to read the full potential of the effect by the description alone. I hope some reviews will follow.

Best. News. Ever.

I've been waiting for these things for a long while. Even though I dont use Paul Harris' stuff too often, he has this infectious creativity about him...he always takes these effects that fall into the "Sure it'd be a great trick, but nobody could actually pull that off", and not only finds a solution, but a PRACTICAL, USEABLE one. Even if I don't use the effect myself, it usually spurs me on to think up new things that I do use.

That being said, I have a feeling these things are going to cost somewhere between $250 and your first born child to own. At my current wage of $0/hr, that's going to take a whole lot of work to earn.

They are going to be $300, but I think it will be more than worth it.  When I read the effect descriptions, I was pretty much drooling, and the trailer made me salivate more.  I can't wait!

Just read that these are set to release during the last week of January which gives us....4 days before we start rabidly checking the mailbox every hour!

That is, if you haven't already started that like I have.
