Hi i have been very busy lately and now I finally completed the review. Sorry for keeping you waiting.

I accepted the mission to review Urban Legend by magician Michael Paul from America.
The effect in question is a bizarre effect with which Michael closes his show at Monday Night Magic in New York. Most of you should know the basic effect; the magician eats razor blades and a string, and finally pulls out the razorblades tied to a string.
I think that the trick has been improved substantially, Michael Paul has succeeded in removing (or changing) everything that was suspicious or irrelevant in previous versions. He has changed the number of blades in use, the blade holder, and the method is new to me as well. Every move is motivated by a Halloween- themed script. You don’t need any special equipment to perform the effect, everything that you need is available in normal department stores. You do need to prepare for 15 minutes before the show. The trick is relatively safe in the right hands, but accidents do happen, that is something you should consider when buying this trick.
Even though the trick isn’t technically challenging, the trick won’t show its true potential unless you have a strong presentation. The script that is provided with the effect is one of the best I have read, the exciting story goes perfectly together with the dramatic trick. It’s noticeable that the script has been tweaked and fine tuned over the years and that every single line is well thought of, Michael Paul even tells you what you should do after the performance so that you would get the best reactions possible. Michael Paul has even created a background music that supports the script and helps you build the tension.
The instructions consist of a zip file with 2 text files (script/instructions and a separate script), 16 pictures and the background music. You can buy the trick from magicandmindgames.com for $25, which I think is very affordable when you take into consideration how much work has been put into this whole routine.
