Not that I seek out such trivial information, but I happened to search on 'Zenburg challenge' because I thought it was an official magical phrase of which I was unaware. What Google turned up was the GMG show notes of Zenburgs addition of GMG to wikipedia. The page didn't load since it'd been removed because:

"CSD A7 - Unremarkable people, groups, companies and web content that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject"

Sorry guys - looks like 'Alphachimp' thinks you are "Unremarkable people"  Huh? Don't worry, we all still love you! Right guys?

Its bad enough that no one took me up on the chalange but now my chalange is trivial information. I really thought the combined creative efforts of the GMG listeners could come up with something but I guess I was wrong. Its a sad day for Zenburg

Dont worry Zenberg, you can always repost the GMG stuff and do a new compo!

You just need a urban and gritty prize to entice the masses

Who is the Alpha Chimp? Anyways, he deleted it again...

So, I challenged his deletion and tried to make it look better.

    * 02:13, 9 February 2007 Alphachimp (Talk | contribs) deleted "GoMagicGo" (WP:CSD A7 - article without assertion of the notability of the subject, repeated recreation)
    * 00:24, 9 February 2007 Alphachimp (Talk | contribs) deleted "GoMagicGo" (Per CSD A7 - Unremarkable people, groups, companies and web content that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject.)
    * 22:48, 27 December 2006 Alphachimp (Talk | contribs) deleted "GoMagicGo" (Per Criteria for Speedy Deletion, R1 - Per Criteria for Speedy Deletion, R1 - content was: '#REDIRECT Go Magic Go' (and the only contributor was 'Elonka'))

I have also sent a nice letter to Alphachimp to explain why and to put the page back.

If you the GMG team can add to that post, I am sure we can get it unlocked and back into cycberspace!

You have the power! You have the means! Be the man!

Whoever Alpha Chimp is, he must be pretty unremarkable because he doesn't have an article either.

One suggestion for content would be to include the show notes, or similar, on the page. Otherwise, what else is there to add? What demonstrates it's an ongoing concern?

IMO, the external links should also go directly to the GMG site, and not Gareths homepage. Grin

Yours, not touching the page for political reasons that may be apparent to some of you Wink
